In 1986 Sydney McCausland emigrated to the United States of America from Kingston Jamaica. Three months later, he was on his way to Parris Island, South Carolina for U.S. Marine Corps basic training. Sydney served as an MP (Military Policeman) for the next 4 years and 6 months in Okinawa Japan, Beaufort South Carolina and the 1990 Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield); he received an honorable discharge upon completion of his military service.

After serving his country, Sydney joined the Pembroke Pines Police Department and continued to serve his community as a patrol officer for 9 years. He was then promoted to the Backgrounds/Selections unit as a Background Investigator. After 4 years as an Investigator, Sydney was appointed to the position of Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Pembroke Pines, where he concentrated on planning and preparing for natural and man-made disasters. In 2016 Sydney retired as a Police Detective.

In 2007 Sydney attended the International Academy of Polygraph, where he completed over 3000 polygraph examinations; he’s an expert in both criminal cases and pre-employment examinations. Sydney is a member of the American Polygraph Association and the Florida Polygraph Association, where he participates in continuing polygraph education. His services are available in all of Florida and the Caribbean, he is fully licensed and insured.
